CEO Sue Benson, according to her staff is a very easy-going, approachable, and friendly boss. Early 2020 Childcare and Community Centre took over our nursery, since then Sue then has made some exciting changes to our nursery and is looking forward to seeing it grow and expand involving the wider community. To her mind, the thing that makes our nursery a fantastic place to work are the staff. In her free time, she keeps horses which are competed across the country.
Fitness fanatic and financial whizz Lisa Fisher can be found munching away through her mammoth daily fruit salad while furiously processing our in-goings and out-goings. She always has a smile for everyone. A former athletics county champion, our furtive biscuits are quickly put away from her glaring eyes. Unless it is short bread – she’ll partake in eating short bread.
Busy bee Sue Marsh started her career at our Wigan site as a nursery nurse but as well as their admin superstar she has now taking over our invoicing. Sue processes parents’ requests and all information on free hour. Outside of work she ferries her children to rugby and gymnastics competitions and enjoys socialising.
Motivated Manager Katie Wilkinson has worked hard to achieve this all-important role. Katie is very approachable and always wants the best with the staff and the nursery. Katie is full of fresh ideas and is positive and a very dedicated role model. Outside of nursery Katie enjoys socialising with her friends and family. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Dedicated Deputy Manager/SENCO Sharon Gourlay has been in the childcare industry for 21 years. She is totally committed to her role as the Deputy and SENCO. Sharon liaises with many families and outside agencies and is always happy to help and advice with any concern’s parents might have. In her spare time Sharon enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and the rest of the family.
