Welcome to Carr Manor Nursery

Carr Manor Nursery offers the highest standard of childcare and a stimulating learning environment. Children are accepted from birth until they’re ready to start school. The nursery first opened in April 2008 in Preston, Lancashire and is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year.

Our Manager Katie who is an experienced childcare professional and a mum. Katie chose Carr Manor for her daughter, who spent 3 years here from 6 months old. Pippa embarked into school; a happy, confident child who had met all her Early Learning Goals through first quality teaching and hands on care. The practitioners at Carr Manor are second to none. Each and every person has made our family feel welcome. The settling-in process was taken at my son's pace, the staff is amazing with the children and parents. Always a thorough handover and reassurance from staff. It was easy to trust the staff here as they are so open, warm, and welcoming. My son runs to his favourite nursery nurse every morning for his morning cuddle before breakfast and there's not a price you can put on that to know how settled and well-looked after he is while I'm at work. I honestly couldn't of picked a better place for my son. After looking around all the local nurseries, Carr Manor was our favourite by a mile. Both me and my partner agreed we have picked the right place and the staff honestly couldn't do more for you. They made sure my son settled straight away, which takes all the worries away from us and he now runs in without looking back, which as a parent honestly is the best feeling and proves we picked the right nursery for our son. I would recommend to anyone who is looking!
Carr Manor has been excellent with taking care of our daughter and getting her prepped for starting school. They've done that great a job, we are looking to start our son in the nursery when maternity leave finishes. Thanks to all the Carr Manor team.
My grandson of 18 months started at Carr Manor Nursery earlier in the year, initially apprehensive and shy, but after 2 sessions that changed. His face lights up and he is so excited to go in. He loves the staff, running in to get cuddles. He has come on so much learning lots of new skills, joining in and sharing. I can't praise the staff there enough.
All staff are amazing, they go above and beyond for every child. Nothing is ever too much, they've supported us with lots of things and always give you time. My child has developed so much, personally, emotionally and socially over due to the compassionate and nurturing environment of the nursery. My child loves the nursery, talks about this nursery workers all the time when at home and goes in running and smiling and is always welcomed with a smile and a hug. Lots of lovely learning experiences provided, lots of outdoor opportunities.
I would definitely recommend Carr Manor nursery. My 18 month old has been attending since he was 9 months old and he absolutely loves it! The staff are always bubbly, friendly and very approachable if needed. My little boy has come on so much since attending and his confidence has grown. They have different rooms such as soft play, a sensory room and a big outdoor area full of fun toys!
Hands down the most incredible nursery there is. The staff are absolutely amazing and always go above and beyond for you and your children. They do everything they can to make your child happy & safe and that to me is so important. I honestly can't rate this nursery enough, they should be so so proud of themselves for the care they provide!
